certifies qualified engineers and technicians in the fields of
telecommunications,
electromagnetic compatibilty/interference (EMC)
electrostatic discharge control (ESD)
product safety, and unlicensed wireless systems installation.
NARTE also administers FCC commercial operator license exams.
Since 1982, more than sixteen thousand
engineers and technicians who strive for excellence have become NARTE
Certified. The credibility of the NARTE certification has prompted
many communications, transportation, utility and manufacturing
corporations as well as the US military to mandate or prefer NARTE
certification as a pre-requisite to employment. NARTE is highly
regarded for professional excellence and provides its certified and
non-certified members outstanding representation at the local,
state, national and international level.
