An entry-level test system is available that will perform the four most commonly specified electrical safety compliance tests with a single device-under-test (DUT) connection. The system consists of a line of hipot and ground-bond testers, which can be connected together to perform ac hipot, dc hipot, insulation resistance, and ground-bond tests. There are three models in the 2900 series. Model 2925 is an ac-only hipot tester, and Model 2935 is an ac and dc hipot tester. Model 2945 is an ac and dc hipot tester with a built-in insulation resistance tester. Model 2630 is an enhanced 30-A ground-bond tester. Any model of the 2900 series can be interconnected with the 2630 to form the test system. Available configurations are ac hipot and ground bond; ac hipot, dc hipot, and ground bond; and ac hipot, dc hipot, insulation resistance, and ground bond. Advanced features include an LCD, multiple test memories, electronic ramp and dwell, PLC remote control, milliohm offset and adjustable output current, and milliohm trip current. Keypad Multiplexer

A compact complementary metal oxide semiconductor multiplexer for keypad switches in multifunction wireless handsets and other portable electronics enables device keys or joystick or roller pads to perform dual functions. The 3-mm-square, 16-lead CM2500-05QF multiplexer is offered as a space-saving substitute for a 5-Schottky-diode package. It provides a low voltage drop of less than 10 mV from input to output on each channel, allowing it to be used in applications where supplies operate at 1.5-2.7 V; unlike Schottky-diode-based devices, this multiplexer will not cause high signals to be pulled low inadvertently when used with low-core-voltage chipsets. Separate outputs facilitate connection to different sections of the keypad circuit for design and PCB routing flexibility.
