Snubber Network

The RCN snubber network is suitable for snubbing high-frequency switching transients in switch-mode power supplies. The film-foil capacitors have externally mounted resistors for making a direct connection to ultrafast rectifiers in MD3CC packages. The direct mounting aligns the three terminals with the rectifier package. The network is constructed with two serially connected RC legs and a common center-tap terminal. The network comes assembled onto an aluminum heat-sink plate. Fiber-Optic Modules

The nLighten fiber-optic communications modules are 12-channel parallel optical links that transfer an aggregate bandwidth of 19.2 Gb/sec (1.6 Gb/sec per channel) up to a distance of 300 m. Programmable Power Supplies

The MX series of power supplies ranges in output power from 45 to 135 kVA. The MX45 provides single- or three-phase output modes for ac or one to three outputs for dc use. Voltage ranges are 0–150, 0–300, and 0–400 V ac, with all lines to neutral. The output frequency can be programmed from 16 to greater than 800 Hz. Surge Arrester

The Y08SV-272B gas discharge tube (GDT) is UL 1449 and UL 1414 listed and meets the VDE internal electrode gap requirement of 3 mm. When placed in series with metal-oxide varistors, the tube satisfies the agency standards for proper overvoltage protection in 110- and 220-V lines. Cord Tester

When coupled with a dedicated test enclosure, an integrated mains cord tester can perform a complete series of electrical safety tests automatically and with a cycle period of 3 seconds. The tests include earth continuity, line and neutral continuity/polarity, and insulation between cores and outer surfaces of plug tops and other fitted connectors. The unit can be set for two-core lead sets, with the earth test being replaced by a sensing circuit to detect the presence of a three-core lead. Voltage-Controlled Oscillator

The SMV5300L is a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) suitable for applications in wireless local-area networks. The surface-mount device generates frequencies between 5220 and 5420 MHz within a control voltage range of 0.5 to 4.5 V dc, allowing the error voltage to be taken directly from the integrated circuit's charge pump circuitry. Hot-Swap Controller

The HV300LG is a controller for hot-swap power management. The integrated circuit provides complete control of the power-supply connection for systems that are always powered on but require insertion or removal of cards or modules without power disturbance. The topology of the device offers inrush current limiting, short-circuit protection, and a power-good status signal. Multichannel Dc Source

The GX1838 is a dc source that provides eight discrete output channels and three programmable 14-bit voltage rails. Each rail can be programmed to output between –9 and 32 V and provide up to 100 mA. Compact VCXO

The 7311E series of voltage-controlled crystal oscillator (VCXO) is suitable for wavelength-division multiplexing applications. The compact device measures 9.6 x 11.4 x 3.9 mm. Winding Tester

The 6815 impulse winding tester is suitable for testing wound components. Electrostatic Voltmeter

Reed Relay

The CR-series reed relay is a low-profile device constructed with a ceramic case that matches the thermal coefficient of expansion of the reed-switch glass and the reed lead to eliminate any potential packaging stress. The device can switch at a rate of 6 GHz with rise times <40 picoseconds for digital operations. The 50-W relay uses no internal solder and has a 1-µV typical thermal offset. Ac Power Source
