Chambers and Enclosures
FerroSorb PS from ETS-Lindgren is a hybrid EMC absorber that is both
waterproof and fire retardant. The absorber is a matching network created
by printing a lossy coating on the substrate material. The network provides
a smooth transition from free-space impedance to the ferrite base. The
material has a frequency range of 30 MHz to 18 GHz.
Antenna Measurement Chamber
Chambers designs and constructs custom radio-frequency shielded anechoic
chambers. Turnkey chamber facilities are available for EMC and high-frequency
applications. A recently completed antenna measurement chamber provides
a 3-foot quiet zone in the frequency range of 700 MHz to 5 GHz. The
chamber also offers FM-200 fire protection and an independent heating,
ventilation, and air conditioning system. Other services include upgrades
of existing chambers to meet new program requirements, absorber installations,
and relocation of chambers from one site to another.
RF Solutions offers 3-, 5-, 10-m, and compact chambers built with proprietary
hybrid absorbers. The radio-wave-absorbing materials are selected specifically
to match test requirements. One team designs, installs, and tests the
chambers. The chambers are built to customer-specified standards.
Certified Test Lab
EMC Compliance Management Group Inc. offers a 10-m open site, 3-m certified
anechoic chamber and screen room. Immunity and UL/CSA labs are available
for NEBS, LVD, and safety-testing purposes. The lab is EN 45001, ISO
17025, and NVLAP certified and accredited for CE, FCC, VCCI, BSMI, C-Tick,
CCIB, and RRL.
Center for Excellence in Electronics (NCEE) offers a 10-m semianechoic
EMC chamber to assist electronics manufacturers with compliance testing
needs. The center is an independent nonprofit testing and training organization.
