Internal-control module
|
- Simple product having less safety concern and
exempt from EMC requirements.
- The applicant lodges technical documentation and statement
of “Declaration of Internal-Control Module” to the effect that
the manufactured products meet the applicable standard(s) or related
technical requirement(s).

II
|
Type-test module
|
- The applicant submits a test sample and technical
documentation to the competent inspection authority or a recognized
laboratory.
- The applicant obtains a type-test report after testing
is completed.
|

III
|
Conformity-to-type declaration
module
|
- The applicant submits a “Declaration of Conformity-to-Type
Module” statement and declares that the manufactured products
are in conformance with the type-test sample.

IV
|
Full quality assurance system
module
|
- The manufacturer establishes/maintains a CNS
12681 (ISO 9001) quality assurance system approved by the competent
inspection authority or its recognized certified body of the system.
- A certificate of full quality assurance registration
is required.

|
Production quality assurance
system module
|
- The manufacturer establishes/maintains a CNS 12681
(ISO 9001) quality assurance system approved by the competent
inspection authority or its recognized certified body of the system.
- A certificate of full quality assurance registration
is required.

VI
|
Product quality assurance system
module
|
- The manufacturer establishes/maintains a CNS
12682 (ISO 9002) quality assurance system approved by the competent
inspection authority or its recognized certified body of the system.
- A certificate of production quality assurance
registration is required.

|
VII
|
Simplified factory inspection module
|
- The manufacturer establishes/maintains quality
assurance procedure(s) as published by the competent inspection
authority.
- A Registration Notification for Simplified Factory
Inspection is given to the manufacturer following the approval
by the competent inspection authority.
